Monday

Today has been a good day. Yesterday was a very peaceful Mother's Day. I talked to all my children by phone and they were all doing well.
Today we went to a thank you TEA at the Nursing Home for Volunteers. They do this every year and it is very nice, they serve some awesome snacks, etc. There were a lot more people there today than I have seen before. It was fun and nice. Bill went with me, he doesn't always go, so I was glad he went today.
We are still enjoying our Grace Bible Study here at home and this Sunday we are supposed to go the the Owen's home for Bible Study with Jerry Sanders. Jerry has a church in Selma and goes to Darlington, Fl on Sunday nights for Bible Study. This Sunday he and the congregation from Darlington are coming up so that we can meet with them. Is is quite a drive to Darlington, so I don't know if we will drive that far or not, but maybe sometime we will.
God is so good !!!

Scott and Dina's family

The picture on the right is of Scott, Dina, Taylor and Cody in April.
The picture on the left is Dina, Alisha (Dina's daughter) and Taylor at the airport when Alisha arrived in Virginia.

Wedding

This is a picture of the bride and groom from a couple of years ago!
Next Thursday my oldest Grandchild (25) will be married in Plant City, Fl.

I plan to attend and ride down with my youngest daughter and her family. It is a long way, but we are excited to get to go. He is the son of my oldest child, Scott. Scott and his new bride,(since 4-05-2009) will be there and I am glad to get to see them again.

Scott has two other children, and will be adopting Dina's daughter within the next few weeks and that will give him two girls and two boys!! Dina is Scott's new wife and she is a very special person and we are all very happy for them.

Just Posting

I am trying to get sleepy enough to go to sleep, so I will just post a note.

It has been a week this Sunday since we dropped out of the Baptist Denomination. We have had some flack, but mostly every one has been supportive of our decision. It is hard to explain to them the reason for this move, but we have complete peace with our decision. We welcome all prayers for our support during our transition.

There is not a Grace assembly in our area, so we are attending Shorewood Bible Church via the internet on Sunday and Wednesday, live. We also have websites for at least 3 more churches.

Next Sunday night we are supposed meet for Bible Study at the home of the only 2 people that I have found (via a facebook contact)in Elba, Al. Jerry Sanders has a church in Selma, Al and comes to Darlington, Fl on Sunday nights and the people we met go to his Bible Study in Fl. They have had Bible Study at their house a lot, Jerry and the people from the study in Darlington drive up to Elba for the study. They have agreed to come next Sunday Night so that we can attend and get our first experience of a Grace Bible Study in the real person. We are excited about it. We are 72 years old and do not go out much at night and it is a long drive to Darlington, so we appreciate their willingness to come just so we can attend.

I will post and let all know how it goes.

Thanks for your prayers and support.

Big Decision!!

Bill and I have finally decided it is time to move on away from the Baptist Church we attend. We have been studying a long time now about the Grace Movement and we feel that is the way to go. The Word of God has opened up so much for us and we really feel that Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth is the way God intended for us to understand the Bible. It has been wonderful and we are hoping to make contact with some more Grace Believers other than the one we met on Tuesday. It was a Blessed afternoon of sharing and testimony that we shared with them.

Pray for us in this transition.

In Christ

Bible Conference

This weekend we are attending Grace School of the Bible's Conference via the Internet! It is awesome. The preaching last night was very enlightening. If you are interested the website is: ShorewoodBibleChurch.org. The conference will run all day today and until 10 tonight (CST) and three times tomorrow. We plan to watch as much of it today as we can.

Next Tuesday we are to meet with the only Grace Believers we have been able to find out about in our hometown. There is not a Grace Church close enough for us to attend so we watch what we can on the Internet.

I wish everyone could learn about Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth. It will open up God's Word like you have never seen it before!!!

Root Canal

Well, when we returned from Virignia, I had to go get my root canal done. It took half a day and it hurt my pocketbook big time. The price has more than doubled in the last 7 years since my last one.
My tooth is pretty sore, but it is getting better. Next step, go back to my regular dentist and get a permanent filling, (more money!)
But that is life, so no more complaining.
Just glad I could pay for it. Can't afford to lose the tooth as it is one of three holding an eight unit bridge in!! LOL
